Designing Process

Personal touch is what we believe would make our client give all the details of their needs, with regards to design and development of the project.

At the start, we will be working on the detailed project schedule, outlining the specific deliverables and the date when it’s needed from CWS to you, also including the time frames for you valuable feedback and approvals for each and every stage of the project. Each phase of the project affects the subsequent phases and will depend upon the specific deliverables and project highlights through which the project will progress. Our client’s approval is required in every stage or phase of the project.

There are five (5) major stages most CWS projects have.

Step 1 – Planning Stage In the planning stage, the company tries to get to know more or discover things about the client and the business/organization itself. We may ask the clients to provide us with the past and current marketing materials they’ve used and ask a lot of question, this is the getting to know you stage. Also, in this stage, we may be able to assess our clients’ Overall Business Strategy, Marketing Objectives, Target Audience, Competition, Project and Design Preferences, Ideas and a lot more.

Step 2 – Concept and Design Stage Here, after we have gathered the necessary information and data we need to know, like goals and objectives needed for the project, we try to conceptualize the design and develop the overall structure of the project. At this stage, we may submit to the client for feedback and approval: design Concept and Mock-up(s), Project Description/Map, a detailed functionality outline, and, if we, CWS, will be writing and/or editing the content of the project, we will also submit a complete list of the pages to be written or edited. We will make sure that the overall design of the project will suit the functionality being required for the project.

Step 3 – Production Stage After the client’s approval of the design and concept and the overall structure of the project, we will begin building the project. This stage is often the longest phase of the project process. All pages /screens are being built and propagated with content and graphics, coding and development of all technical requirements such as
Database, e-commerce functionality, we also create the bells and whistles for the project such as flash elements, dynamic drop down menus and the like.

Step 4 - Testing and Quality Assurance Stage On this stage what we do is to test and test and test the project. CWS will test the project once built, after testing it is being turned over to the client for review and testing as well. If revisions are needed, it will be done based on the testing and feedback of the clients.

Step 5 – Project Completion/Deployment Stage If the client gives their final approval, the project is ready to go live! Upon clients’ approval, depending on the type of the project, CWS may do the following: upload clients; web files to clients web server and submit the site to search engines, the web project, submit to the client the final files in printer ready format, print project, or submit to the client the final files on CD ROM, DVD or Video, CD, DVD or Video project.
